Meet Wouter Verweij, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
Hello! I’m Wouter (“wow-ter”) Verweij. I am a Registered Massage Therapist dedicated to helping the residents of Bradford West Gwillimbury live pain-free, active lives.
I run my practice, WoVe MT, out of the RefinedBody clinic. My journey into massage therapy began with a desire to understand how the body works and how to fix it when it breaks down. Whether you are dealing with a new injury or long-standing chronic pain, my goal is to provide a safe and professional space where you feel heard and cared for.
My Personalized, Evidence-Based Approach
I do not believe in a “cookie-cutter” approach to massage. One treatment plan does not fit all bodies.
My practice is built on evidence-based care. This means I combine the best available research with my clinical expertise and your specific preferences. During our sessions, I look for the root cause of your discomfort—whether it’s a postural imbalance from desk work or a restriction in your fascia—rather than just treating the symptoms.
I view our time together as a partnership. I am here to facilitate your recovery, but I also aim to empower you with the knowledge and self-care habits (like remedial exercises) to maintain those results at home.
Credentials and Professional Affiliations
Trust is essential in healthcare. I am a regulated health professional in good standing with the college that oversees our profession in Ontario.
Member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
Member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO)

Life in Bradford
I am proud to call Bradford home, where I live with my wife and our two young daughters.
When I am not in the clinic, you can often find me swimming laps to stay fit or exploring the outdoors with my family. My personal interest in active living helps me better understand the mechanics of movement and the frustration that comes when pain stops you from doing what you love.
